I bought a Forest Pansy, which I thought was a bush, but turned out to be a tree. Planted it in a large earthenware pot and put it in in my tiny garden. It’s growing splendidly.
I also bought a little jasmine plant which is now on my generous bow windowsill amongst all the other plants. I get immense pleasure looking at it, and hope maybe before the season is over there will be a few little, sweet-smelling flowers, which would make my day.
I read Here We Are by Graham Swift and am about to finish Last Orders also by Swift. I’m totally in awe of his formidable brain.
I ordered A Journal of the Plague by Defoe from Amazon and I should get it shortly.
Good read. Suzanne you’re an inspiration.
